Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, IIT (ISM), Dhanbad, proudly announces the International Conference on “Interdisciplinary Approach in Chemical and Biological Sciences (IACBS-2025)”, to celebrate the centennial year of the institute. This global event is designed to foster academic dialogue and collaborative research at the exciting interface of Chemical and Biological Sciences. Scheduled for December 1-2, 2025, at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, this conference will bring together leading scientists, young researchers, and academicians from around the globe to discuss recent advances, and interdisciplinary approaches in Chemical and Biological Sciences. The program will feature Keynote Lectures, Plenary Lectures, Invited Lectures, and Poster Presentations; offering a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange and networking. IACBS-2025 aims to encourage collaboration, share cutting-edge research, and explore new frontiers; bridging Chemistry, Biology, and allied disciplines. By bringing together diverse disciplines, the conference aspires to build pathways towards innovation and global scientific impact.

About the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology

The Department offers three academic programmes: a two-year M. Sc. in Chemistry, a two-year M. Tech in Pharmaceutical Science and Engineering and a BS-MS in Chemical Science, along with PhD program. Apart from these, the Department provides a variety of courses in several B. Tech and M. Tech programmes.
